The show highlighted how good Anakin was as a mentor, even if he was tough on Ahsoka sometimes. The training sequence fans get to see in episode five, when Ahsoka learns the moves that eventually save her during Order 66, was amazing to see. Fans get a better understanding of the character overall. The first few episodes also highlight why Dooku makes the decisions he makes when viewers see him again in the prequel trilogy. We also learn that Dooku has been talking to Palpatine already up to that point. Through the show, we learn that Count Dooku was still with the Jedi order when Jinn passed away on Nabo. Young Qui-Gon is actually voiced by Liam Neeson’s son, Micheál Richardson, a nice touch by the people over at LucasFilm. The first few episodes follow Count Dooku, with the first episode in particular dealing with Dooku as he trains a young Qui-Gon Jinn.
